Argyll Wedding Cars Terms and Conditions

For the purpose of this document, the following definitions will apply.

Hirer: The person paying for the car hire.

Vendor: AWC

Wedding Car Hire Services

All of the Argyll Wedding Cars services are subject to the Terms and Conditions laid out below. A complete description of Argyll Wedding Cars hire services and it's accompanying pricing is contained both on the Website and also in our Wedding Car Hire Information Pack.

We have a strict ‘No Smoking’ policy in the cars.

A deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required on booking. This is a non refundable deposit with the balance being due 6 weeks prior to the wedding/event. The Booking Price - This will be the price quoted once a route and all requirements have been established with AWC. If the booking is made between 14 and 28 days prior to the event then the full balance must be paid on booking. The quotation and provisional booking is valid for 14 days from the quote date after which time, if not taken up by the customer, the quote and provisional booking will expire.

Any Cancellations must be done 1 month prior to the wedding/event otherwise the client will be asked to pay the full outstanding balance. Cancellations must be done in writing by the person who originally made the booking with AWC. Emails will not be accepted; postal letters only, signed and dated, with the booking and cancellation details.

The Management reserves the right to refuse a booking. AWC will not accept any liability for any belongings lost by the booking party whilst using its services. In the event of any internal or external damage being caused to the vehicle(s) by the hirer’s guests or any other party, the hirer will be liable for the repair costs in full. The driver may terminate the booking if the client or passengers cause excessive delays, are disorderly or in the driver’s judgement are unfit to travel.

Although we will endeavour to meet deadlines, we accept no responsibility for delays however caused i.e unforeseen extreme traffic conditions and for restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location.

Car Choice Availability. In the event of a booked car being unavailable due to problems beyond our control, The Vendor will inform the Hirer and offer a suitable alternative car for the same date.

Customer Acceptance. Customers accepting our service verbally or in writing are entering into a legally binding contract. The Hirer will be required to sign our standard Rental Agreement before taking the car.
